Raising a Glass to Community: Our EOFY Celebration at Riva

As the financial year came to a close, we took a moment to pause, reflect, and raise a glass with our Riva community. Our End of Financial Year event wasn’t just about marking a date on the calendar. It was about celebrating the incredible people and businesses that make Riva more than just a workspace. It’s a place where connection, growth, and collaboration happen daily.

Held at our flagship location in Bundall, the afternoon brought members together over drinks, delicious food, and great conversation. Catering was provided by The Lunch Project, a Gold Coast-based business with a powerful mission - helping feed children in need through every meal sold. Not only was the food fresh and full of flavour, but every plate served contributed to making a real difference in the lives of local kids.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, offering the perfect chance to step away from desks and screens to enjoy the company of those we work alongside every day. From familiar daily greetings in the kitchen to spontaneous laughter shared over coffee, the event captured the true spirit of Riva. Many members commented on how refreshing it was to connect in a more personal setting, deepening relationships that so often begin with a simple “hello” in the hallway.

The EOFY event reminded us how important it is to create space for genuine connection. Members shared a wide range of reflections, from team growth and business pivots to new contracts, exciting milestones, and future plans. Just as importantly, they spoke openly about the challenges they’ve faced, and the unexpected support, advice, and camaraderie they’ve found within the Riva community. It’s this culture of encouragement and shared wins that truly sets us apart.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our team who helped bring it all together. If you couldn’t make it this time, we’ve shared a few happy snaps and highlights below.

As we step into a new financial year, we’re feeling energised, grateful, and inspired. Here’s to the year ahead and to many more moments like this.
